Paralegal Completes Advanced Paralegal Certification Program

Shevawn D. Bannon, senior litigation paralegal with Knott Ebelini Hart, has recently completed the Advanced Paralegal Certification program on E-discovery.  The Advanced Paralegal Program is provided by the National Association of Legal Assistants to paralegals who have already achieved the Certified Paralegal designation.  To be awarded this certification, a paralegal must pass a two day written examination covering general skills and knowledge required of all paralegals. The Advanced Paralegal Certification takes the certification and continuing education process one step further by acknowledging successful completion of an advanced course on a specifically defined area of work.  To achieve the advanced certification in the subject area of E-discovery, Shevawn was required to complete 11 learning modules. In addition to completing the Advanced Certification program on E-discovery, Shevawn has previously completed Advanced Certification Programs on Business Organizations, Discovery, Contracts Administration/Contracts Management, Trial Practice, and Social Security Disability.
