Asher E. Knipe
Asher Knipe is a Lee County native who focuses his practice on business and construction litigation throughout Southwest Florida. He earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, graduating with honors.
Before joining the firm, Asher served as an Assistant Public Defender in the Twentieth Judicial Circuit in Fort Myers, where he gained substantial courtroom experience defending individuals charged with a wide range of criminal offenses. Since joining the firm, Asher has represented clients in a variety of complex matters. Notably, he played a key role in obtaining a multi-million-dollar judgment in favor of Lee County. In addition, Asher is an approved title insurance agent for Attorneys’ Title Fund Services. Beyond private practice, Asher currently serves as General Counsel for the Lee County Supervisor of Elections.
Asher remains active in the legal and civic community. He is a member of the Lee County Bar Association, the Civil & Business Litigation Practice Section, and the Calusa Chapter of the American Inns of Court. He has also served on the Twentieth Circuit Grievance Committee “A”, participated in the Lee County Teen Court Program, and volunteered with the Edison Festival of Light. Previously, Asher served as Chairperson of BUPAC (Business People United for Political Action) and as a member of the Federal Court Bar Association.
