James T. Humphrey is Of Counsel at Knott Ebelini Hart and practices primarily in the area of government, administrative, real estate, and land use law. He founded the firm in 1982, then known as Humphrey, Jones & Myers, and worked in private practice until he was elected Mayor of the City of Fort Myers in 2000, a position he held until November, 2009. Jim is former counsel to the Lee Memorial Health System Board of Directors, a public body, and the Lee County Industrial Development Authority, a public body.  He previously served as Trustee of Hodges University and as a member of the Board of Directors for Encore National Bank and as a member of the Board of Directors of Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center.
