Attorney Receives Distinguished Alumni Award for Lifetime Career Achievement

Knott Ebelini Hart would like to congratulate Attorney James T. Humphrey who was recently selected as the 2022 recipient of the prestigious Distinguished Alumni Award for Lifetime Career Achievement from the Young Harris College Alumni Association.  After graduating from Young Harris College, Jim attended Mercer University and graduated from Mercer law School.  

Jim founded Knott Ebelini Hart, then known as Humphrey, Jones & Myers, in 1982 and worked in private practice until he was elected Mayor of the City of Fort Myers in 2000, a position he held until 2009. He is currently Of Counsel at Knott Ebelini Hart and practices in the areas of governmental, administrative, real estate and land use law.
