Attorney Appointed to Florida Bar Grievance Committee

Mary E. Briedé, an associate with Knott Ebelini Hart, has been appointed to serve on the Florida Bar’s Twentieth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee “A” for a three-year term.

The Florida Bar Grievance committees are made up of both lawyer and non-lawyer volunteer members who investigate allegations of lawyer misconduct, which are referred to the committee by the Florida Bar. The grievance committees are charged with deciding if there is probable cause to believe that a lawyer has violated the Rules of Professional Conduct imposed by the Florida Supreme Court and determining if disciplinary action against the lawyer is warranted.

Mary practices in the firm’s commercial litigation group and also focuses on business planning and health care law. Mary graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in Minneapolis with a Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology, cum laude. She received her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.
