George W. Gift, III
George Gift is a Florida Board Certified Construction Law Attorney based in Fort Myers, Florida. His practice focuses on construction litigation, business litigation, contract disputes, and commercial collections. He also assists clients with real estate matters and serves as an approved title insurance agent with Attorneys’ Title Fund Services.
George was born and raised in Southwest Florida, where he developed a lifelong connection to the community. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and later received his Juris Doctorate from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida.
Recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in construction litigation from 2022–2024, George represents clients with professionalism and persistence. He approaches every matter with thorough preparation and a steady commitment to achieving the best results for his clients.
In addition to his litigation and transactional practice, George serves as General Counsel to the Lee County Building Industry Association, a trade organization that supports local contractors through education, compliance guidance, and professional development. Outside the office, George stays active in his community and enjoys spending time outdoors. He loves fishing, boating, and relaxing with his wife and two young children.
