Paralegal Wins “2014 Distinguished Paralegal Award” for Lee County
Shevawn D. Bannon, senior litigation paralegal for Knott Ebelini Hart, has been selected as the winner of the “2014 Distinguished Paralegal Award” for Lee County. This award, hosted by the Paralegal Association of Florida, Inc., Chapter and FineMark National Bank and Trust, was established to find two paragons of paralegals in Lee County and Collier County. Through nomination forms and essays, the award committee was looking for those whose knowledge, skill, dedication and professionalism merit recognition as the First Distinguished Paralegal.
Shevawn has been working in the legal profession since 1985 and has been providing litigation support to Knott Ebelini Hart since 1990. Shevawn is an Accredited Legal Secretary (ALS), Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP), and Certified Legal Assistant (CLA). In addition, she has successfully completed Advanced Paralegal programs in Discovery, Contracts Administration/Contracts Management, Trial Practice, Social Security Disability, Business Organizations: Incorporated Entities, and E-Discovery.
