New Associate

The law firm of Knott Ebelini Hart is pleased to announce that Jennifer S. Gutmore has joined the firm as an associate. Jennifer will concentrate her practice in the areas of business and civil law.

Prior to joining Knott Ebelini Hart, Jennifer served as an Assistant State Attorney in a circuit-wide position in the Twentieth Judicial Circuit for more than seven years.  While her concentration was in motion practice, Jennifer prosecuted individuals for murder and also worked on capital cases. During her time at the State Attorney’s Office, she also worked as a legal instructor at the Public Service Academy.

Jennifer became a member of the Florida Bar in 2007 and is also a member of the Lee County Bar Association. Prior to relocating to Florida, Jennifer practiced law in the State of Ohio for more than four years. She worked in the appellate division of the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office and subsequently accepted a judicial clerkship with Ohio Supreme Court Justice Terrence O’Donnell. She was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2003.

Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She received her law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
