Shareholder to Serve as National Board Representative of Chapter of ABOTA

George H. Knott, senior shareholder, will serve as the 2017 Elected National Board Representative of the Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

Founded in 1958, ABOTA and its members are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the 7th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. ABOTA membership is restricted to trial lawyers of high personal character who meet the exacting standards for courtroom excellence and professionalism.

George is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer and a Board Certified Business Litigation Lawyer. He concentrates his practice in the areas of business and construction litigation and is Certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Circuit Mediator. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, GA.
