The law firm of Knott Ebelini Hart is pleased to announce that Mary E. Briedé has joined the firm as an associate. Mary will concentrate her practice in the areas of business planning, commercial litigation, and health care law.
Prior to joining Knott Ebelini Hart, Mary served for over five years as an Assistant State Attorney in the State Attorney’s Office for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit. Mary also has over three years of experience in civil law in Minnesota District Courts, where she practiced in the areas of insurance defense, construction defect, complex tort litigation, and employment law, and as well she practiced securities and anti-trust class action litigation. She was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 2003.
Mary became a member of the Florida Bar in 2007. She is also a member of the Lee County and American Bar Associations. Mary serves the community by volunteering with local community betterment programs including the Keewaydin Beach Clean-up and build days with Habitat for Humanity of Collier County. She has also served as a Trial Advocacy Judge for the Ave Maria School of Law Moot Court Competition and participated in the Ave Maria School of Law Mock Interview Program.
Mary graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in Minneapolis with a Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology, cum laude. She received her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.
