George H. Knott has been named Attorney of the Year by the Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).  The Attorney of the Year is awarded annually to a recipient exhibiting excellence in advocacy, a distinguished career and a reputation for civility, ethics, and fair play.

Founded in 1958, ABOTA and its members are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the 7th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. ABOTA membership is restricted to trial lawyers of high personal character who meet the exacting standards for courtroom excellence and professionalism.

George is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer and a Board Certified Business Litigation Lawyer. He concentrates his practice in the areas of business and construction litigation and is Certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Circuit Mediator.
