New Shareholder
The law firm of Knott, Consoer, Ebelini, Hart & Swett, P.A. is pleased to announce
that attorney Natly Torres-Alvarado has become a shareholder with the firm. Natly
practices in the areas of business and commercial litigation.
Prior to becoming a shareholder, Natly worked for the firm as an associate. She is
Certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Civil Circuit Mediator and is admitted
to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
She is a member of the Lee County Bar Association, the Lee County Pro Bono
Committee and the Lee County Women’s Association.
Natly received her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs from the George
Washington University in Washington, D.C. She received her Juris Doctorate from
the University of Florida.

Attorney Appointed to Regional Advisory Committee on Trauma Services
David L. Ciccarello, an associate with the firm of Knott, Consoer, Ebelini, Hart & Swett, P.A.,
was recently appointed to serve on the Regional Advisory Committee on Trauma Services for
Lee County.
This 13-member committee was formed in 2005 by the Lee County Trauma Services District
Board of Directors and is comprised of representatives from each of the five counties served
in the District. Each representative brings a vast array of knowledge and experience from
which they contribute innovative ways of thinking with respect to educating the public about
the Lee Memorial Health System Trauma Center.
David concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and real estate litigation.

New Associate
The law firm of Knott, Consoer, Ebelini, Hart & Swett, P.A. is pleased to announce
that David L. Ciccarello has recently joined the firm as an associate. David will
concentrate his practice in the areas of commercial and real estate litigation.
Prior to joining Knott, Consoer, Ebelini, Hart & Swett as an associate, David worked
as a summer clerk for the firm in 2008. David is a Fort Myers native and received his
undergraduate degree from Florida State University, and his law degree from Stetson
University College of Law.

Attorney Receives Board Certification in Real Estate Law
Thomas B. Hart, a shareholder with the firm of Knott, Consoer, Ebelini, Hart & Swett,
P.A., recently attained Board Certification in Real Estate Law by The Florida Bar Board of
Legal Specialization and Education. Certification is the highest level of recognition by The
Florida Bar of the competency and experience of attorneys in the areas of law approved for
certification by the Supreme Court of Florida.
In addition to board certification, Tom is a member of the Lee County and the American Bar
Associations. He is also admitted to the Federal District and U.S. Court of Appeals for the
11th Circuit. Tom concentrates his practice in the areas of Homeowner Association,
Governmental, Land Use, and Real Estate law.

Attorney Elected to Membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates
George H. Knott, senior shareholder with the firm of Knott, Consoer, Ebelini, Hart & Swett,
P.A., was recently elected to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
Founded in 1958, ABOTA and its members are dedicated to the preservation and promotion
of the civil jury trial right provided by the 7th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The
Foundation of ABOTA is an affiliated charitable entity, the mission of which is to support the
purposes of ABOTA through education and research. ABOTA publishes Voir Dire magazine,
which features in-depth articles on current and historical issues related to constitutional rights,
in particular the 7th Amendment right to trial by jury.
To be eligible for membership in ABOTA, an applicant must first be nominated. They then
must meet the qualifications for membership as prescribed in the ABOTA Constitution, and
finally, be elected to membership.
George concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and construction litigation. He
is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer and a Board Certified Business Litigation Lawyer. In
addition, he is Certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Circuit Mediator.

Attorney Appointed General Counsel to Lee Building Industry Association
George H. Knott, senior shareholder with the firm of Knott, Consoer, Ebelini, Hart & Swett,
P.A., was recently appointed as General Counsel to the Lee Building Industry Association for
2009.
The Lee Building Industry Association is a non-profit organization representing Lee, Hendry
and Glades Counties. The organization is a powerful voice for the building industry in the
regulatory arena and a resource for technical assistance, information and educational
assistance.
George concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and construction litigation. He
is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer and a Board Certified Business Litigation Lawyer. In
addition, he is Certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Circuit Mediator.

Attorney Receives Circuit Mediator Certification
Natly Torres-Alvarado, an associate with the firm of Knott, Consoer, Ebelini, Hart
& Swett, P.A., recently attained certification by the Florida Supreme Court as a
Circuit Civil Mediator.
Natly concentrates her practice in the areas of civil litigation, construction law and
commercial disputes. She is admitted to the Florida Bar and is licensed to practice
in the United States Middle District of Florida. Natly is fully bilingual
(English/Spanish) and is able to conduct mediation in Spanish.

Aaron A. Haak, a shareholder with the firm of Knott, Consoer, Ebelini, Hart & Swett,
P.A., recently attained board certification in Construction Law by The Florida Bar
Board of Legal Specialization and Education. Certification is the highest level of
recognition by The Florida Bar of the competency and experience of attorneys in the
areas of law approved for certification by the Supreme Court of Florida.
In addition to board certification, Aaron is a member of the American Bar
Association’s Construction Law Forum. Additionally, Aaron currently serves his
community as Chairman of the Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee for the
Twentieth Judicial Circuit.

Attorney Elected Chairman of Lee County Mosquito Control Board
Thomas B. Hart, a shareholder with the firm of Knott, Consoer, Ebelini, Hart &
Swett, P.A., was recently elected to the office of Chairman of the Lee County
Mosquito Control Board. Tom has served as an elected Board member of Lee
County Mosquito Control since 1998.
Tom concentrates his practice in the areas of homeowner association, governmental,
land use, and real estate law and is a member of the Lee County and the American Bar
Associations.

Attorney Assists in Formation of Lee County Tax Council.
Derrick S. Eihausen, an associate with the firm of Knott, Consoer, Ebelini, Hart &
Swett, P.A., is assisting in the formation of the Lee County Tax Council. The Tax

Paralegals Receive Florida Registered Paralegal Designation
Knott, Consoer, Ebelini, Hart & Swett, P.A. is pleased to announce that four paralegals
in the firm, Shevawn Bannon, Paula Weller, Marcia Joseph and Kate Hroncich have
received the designation of Florida Registered Paralegal.
The Florida Registered Paralegal Program was approved by the Florida Supreme
Court in November of 2007 and is a voluntary registration of paralegals who meet
certain minimum educational, certification or work experience criteria and who
perform specifically delegated substantive legal work for which a member of The
Florida Bar is responsible and who has met the requirements of registration as set
forth in Chapter 20 of the Rules Regulating the Florida Bar.
In addition to being a Florida Registered Paralegal, Shevawn is a Certified Paralegal
and holds Advanced Paralegal Certifications in Discovery, Contracts Administration
/Contracts Management, Trial Practice, Social Security Disability, and Business
Organizations: Incorporated Entities.
