Aaron A. Haak, shareholder of Knott Ebelini Hart, was recently appointed by Governor Rick Scott to the Twentieth Judicial Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission for a term beginning July 14, 2014 and ending July 1, 2018.  Aaron was appointed from a list of nominees submitted by the Florida Bar and was one of twenty-seven appointments to nine Judicial Nominating Commissions across the state.

The Florida Judicial Nominating Commissions are responsible for providing the governor of Florida with a list of possible appointments to the various state courts.  These commissions are required under Article V of the Florida Constitution.

Aaron is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Construction Law and Business Litigation.  He concentrates his practice in the areas of general civil, construction, and business litigation.  Aaron received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala., and his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University in Birmingham, Ala.
